About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Weavr, a service that helps people find the right people to meet inside a trusted community — an event or an organization's professional network — and arranges those meetings. Weavr is a product of The Social Fabric ("we", "us"). By signing in to or using Weavr, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Weavr.

Who can use Weavr

• You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
• Weavr is a professional service. Use it for genuine professional networking, not for dating, recruiting spam or mass marketing.
• If you use Weavr on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

Your account

• You sign in with LinkedIn or with a sign-in link we email you. Keep access to those accounts secure; you are responsible for activity under your Weavr account.
• The information in your profile must be accurate and about you. Do not impersonate anyone or misrepresent your role or company.
• You can edit your profile or delete your account at any time.

Communities and organizers

Weavr works inside communities run by organizers — an event or an organization's network. Organizers decide who is invited, which features are turned on, and can see participants, matches and meeting requests inside their community. Organizers are responsible for having the right to invite the people they add and for how they use what they see in Weavr. We may remove a community or an organizer that breaks these Terms.

Matching, meetings and introductions

• Weavr suggests people inside the same community based on what you ask for and on professional information about them, and explains why each person is a match.
• When you request a meeting, you authorize Weavr to contact that person on your behalf, share the details described in our Privacy Policy, and arrange a time. When you ask for an introduction, Weavr passes your request to the member who can make it.
• People are free to decline or ignore requests. We do not guarantee that anyone will agree to meet, that a match will be suitable, or that a meeting will take place.
• Treat the people you meet and their contact details with respect. Do not use contact details obtained through Weavr for unsolicited marketing or share them with others without permission.

Google Calendar

Connecting Google Calendar is optional. If you connect it, you allow Weavr to read only the free/busy times of your primary calendar (the Google Calendar free/busy scope), so that it can suggest meeting times within the working hours you set. Weavr does not read the contents of your events and never creates, changes or deletes events in your calendar. You can disconnect at any time on your profile page. Our use of Google user data is described in the Privacy Policy and follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your content

• You keep ownership of what you give Weavr: your profile, chat messages, uploaded LinkedIn archive and other content.
• You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve Weavr, including showing your profile to members of your communities as described in the Privacy Policy.
• You confirm that you have the right to provide what you upload, including information about your LinkedIn connections, and that doing so does not break any law or anyone's rights.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, deceive or discriminate against anyone, or send spam or bulk unsolicited messages through Weavr.
• Collect, scrape or export other people's information from Weavr, or use it to build a separate database or service.
• Access Weavr with bots or automated tools, bypass access controls, or interfere with its security or operation.
• Upload malware, or content that is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights.
• Use Weavr in violation of any law, including privacy, anti-spam and data protection laws.

AI-generated content

Weavr uses AI to understand requests, match people, write explanations and draft messages. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Match explanations are suggestions, not verified facts about a person — use your own judgment before relying on them.

Third-party services

Weavr relies on third-party services such as LinkedIn for sign-in and Google for calendar access and video calls (Google Meet). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.

Our service

Weavr is in active development. We may change, add or remove features, and we may suspend or stop the service or any part of it. We own Weavr, including its software, design and brand; these Terms do not give you any rights to them other than to use Weavr as intended.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using Weavr and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account, or remove you from a community, if you break these Terms, if your use creates risk for others or for us, or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as content licenses needed to wind down, disclaimers and limitations of liability — survive termination.

Disclaimers

Weavr is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not vet community members and are not responsible for the conduct of anyone you meet through Weavr, online or in person.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of Weavr. Our total liability for any claim relating to Weavr is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Weavr in the 12 months before the claim or 100 US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims, damages and costs arising from your content, your use of Weavr or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in Weavr or by email. If you keep using Weavr after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
